Running eyewear has the same job as cycling eyewear with one difference: it has to do it while the wearer is bouncing. Weight, retention and ventilation matter more than wind coverage, and a frame that is fine on a bike can be uncomfortable at pace.

Because running and cycling share the same TR90 shield geometry, this is not a new product line to tool up. It is the cycling range positioned and packed for runners — which means you can add the category without adding tooling cost.

1. Weight first. Every model in this range is TR90, the lightweight memory material used across our sports frames. It is the main reason these frames stay comfortable over distance.

2. Retention beats coverage. Look at the nose pad and temple grip. A frame that stays put matters more than one that blocks more wind, because a runner who has to push their glasses up will not wear them again.

3. Match the lens to the session. Photochromic for early starts and changing light, mirrored for full sun, clear for trail running under tree cover and night events.

4. Ventilation and fogging. Heat and sweat build up faster when running than cycling. Frames with a vented lens or an open lower rim clear faster.
